ABOUT DEBORAH

Deb leverages her extensive experience and knowledge as a Cybersecurity Strategist and vCISO to assist DG clients in a variety of engagements.  With over two decades of executive leadership experience spanning government, policy, cybersecurity, privacy, and information technology, Deborah Snyder stands as an accomplished C-level influencer.  

 

Her extensive expertise and strategic vision have played pivotal roles in driving transformative change across diverse sectors. As a highly-respected thought leader, Deb's insights and innovative approaches have shaped industry best practices, making her a sought-after speaker and influencer.

Deb was instrumental in redesigning New York State's data protection strategy as part of a comprehensive information technology transformation initiative.​  As the New York State CISO, she directed the development and implementation of a robust cyber security governance, risk management, and compliance program, aligning strategic objectives with business needs.  Deb also led the NYS Cyber Command Center, overseeing critical operations including incident response, threat reporting procedures, and digital forensics.
