ABOUT RICK 

​

Rick serves as the firms Risk Management Strategist within the Incident Response & Data Breach and Data Privacy Compliance practice groups. He has over 30 years of experience in enterprise technology and security solutions.  Rick's career has spanned from local and state government to Fortune 500 companies, and General Electric.  His international experience includes health care companies as well as working directly with the Secretary of Health in Brazil implementing supply chain and compliance systems. 

Rick served as a principal investigator at GE Research receiving patents in wireless technologies and location-based services.  Additionally, he served as the CISO for New York State as well as for various commercial enterprises.  Rick is a professor of Supply Chain and Cyber Security programs at Albany Law School.  He holds a Master Black Belt in Six Sigma and Security certifications in CEH, CISSP, and CHFI.
